We all at I.KTEO Epirus Autodriver, keeping your car in excellent condition with your scheduled technical inspection, but also with voluntary technical inspection whenever you wish, we contribute to keep you fuel consumption in normal levels, but there are a number of other things what you can take care so as to save money. 

• Avoid air conditioning
  A/ C increases units consumption dramatically. Depending on the time of year and depending on your speed (at low speeds, prefer open windows - and we refer mainly during summer months), with careful use of air conditioning you will save fuel.  

• Drive sober and calm
  You realize, especially when driving in the city, that if you drive in between red traffic lights at 4000 rpm, you will consume more benzine… It is better to change gears faster, at low engine speeds. A calm driving is clearly preferable to both fuel economy and road safety. 

• Check the tire pressure at regular intervals
  Lower air pressure than normal means more fuel consumption  

• Stop being indifferent in your car periodic services
  Your car must be serviced regularly and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, as the service includes changes to filters and other components that affect fuel consumption. A timely regular change of lubricants is also important, as they must meet the factory specifications.  

• Use the cruise control mode (if available in your vehicle)
  Using the cruise control on the major highways allows you to maintain a constant speed and take advantage of every drop of fuel.  

• Turn off your car’s engine at stops  

Even at idle an engine consumes about 0.5-1 liters of fuel per hour. This is why it is beneficial for your pocket and the environment to turn off the engine, in cases where the estimated stop period lasts more than 20 seconds. If our car does not have a Start and Stop system, we can safely switch off the engine ourselves, as both the starter and the battery shall not worn out by this repetitive action.  

• Driving- in- economy thematic seminars
  Take part in special seminars on a safe, preventive and economic driving that are held in specialized schools by accredited instructors. This is one of the best investments you can make for your life, your wallet and your environment.
